After graduating from University of Sydney in 1980 Dr Cheryl worked for two years at Westmead Hospital where she gained experience in restorative and paediatric dentistry. She then worked for two years in London where she gained experience in Crown and Bridge plus Oral Surgery. Dr Cheryl returned to Sydney and worked at a few practices before starting a practice with her husband Dr Milton McConnell in Cherrybrook. Together, they worked there for 12 years before moving their practice to Beecroft where they have been for the past 19 years. Dr Cheryl is proud to now work alongside their daughter Dr Olivia McConnell and son in law Dr Adam Roach.

Dr Cheryl is passionate about both dentistry and the Beecroft community. Having grown up in Beecroft and having attended Cheltenham High School, she has a strong affiliation with the area. She is proud to be serving the Beecroft and surrounding community.  

Dr Cheryl believes the key to a healthy mouth lies in prevention and maintenance. 

In her spare time Dr Cheryl enjoys tennis, travelling and spending time with her family.
